Today's students are growing and learning in a knowledge-based, highly technological society where information is readily available from a variety of resources. This requires a reflection on how students learn in, and outside, of the school setting.  Through Project Based Learning, or PBL, students learn by solving complex problems along with practicing and strengthening the key skills of cooperation, problem solving and critical thinking.  By engaging our students in authentic, real-world challenges we are preparing them for the world we live in...and for the future!

As we work together to implement PBL at RTMS, we are looking to gather your individual expertise for possible project partnerships within our classrooms. We might ask you for feedback of a project’s authenticity in a particular field, your involvement with launching a project, collaborating with students during the project, or sitting in on a panel to review final products. Connecting with our community is an essential part of our mission and we thank you in advance for sharing your knowledge with our students and our staff. Click here to volunteer.
